Sunday, April 19:
An Evening with Sister Abegail Ntleko of the Khuphuka Project
Please join us in welcoming Sister Abegail, who will be in San Francisco to receive an 'Unsung Heroes of Compassion' award from the Dalai Lama. In addition to heading up the Khuphuka Project, Sister Abegail has spent a lifetime as a nurse, helping the people of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. She founded and leads an orphanage of about 80 children called "Clouds of Hope," a Christian Care Center. Sister Abegail will speak at our sangha meeting April 19 and show some film footage of the launching of the Khuphuka Project celebration and Woza Moya. All dana collected that evening will be donated between the two projects.
